Each year Habitat for Humanity of Greater Richmond, Inc. participates in the State of Indiana's Neighborhood.Assistance Program.
Once each year the state of Indiana grants us the right to sell tax credits to individuals and businesses who make financial contributions to Habitat through the state’s Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). Any Indiana taxpayer who donates money to Habitat under the NAP program will receive a state income tax credit equal to 50% of their gift. To participate in this program you must donate at least $100 (for a $50 tax credit) to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Richmond, Inc. The maximum donation is $50,000 (for a $25,000 tax credit).
In addition, if you itemize deductions, 100% of your contribution is deductible on your Federal tax return.
